David Edmiston built his "Passion X" in Sydney, Australia, to a very high standard with beautifully finished and fair hull. She is a Didi 40cr with the stern topsides flared out to provide a wider aft end to the deck but with the same underbody. David is a very competent and careful builder, who commissioned the design modification in 2014 and launched her in early 2017.
"Passion X" is fully certified for ocean racing by the Australian sailing authorities and was raced in the Sydney and Australian east coast area until the world was shut down by the COVID Pandemic. That included shutting down sailboat racing and, rather than sitting at home wasting time, David commissioned a new design, the Didi 120 and started building the new boat. "Passion XI" was launched in 2024 and David has put "Passion X" on the market. Her price is A$99500, fully equipped.
